Morpeth Men's Hockey Club currently play in The North East Hockey League fielding Three sides. Their home ground and clubhouse are situated at Longhirst Hall some 4 miles north of Morpeth Town Centre. The Hockey Section forms just one element of the parent Cricket, Hockey and Tennis Club.

The clubhouse and all of the pitches are owned exclusively by the club.The Hockey Season, generally runs from September to March, with games played on a Saturday. Morpeth Men's Hockey Club is the most Northern of the clubs playing in the league.The league stretches south to Richmond(North Yorks) and west to Hexham. Morpeth regularly tour to Blackpool at Easter, Edinburgh and Wolverhampton and there is also a Veterans league throughout the summer

The club is always interested in hearing from new players, or from sides who are interested in touring the area and want to arrange a game. For new players, young and old, we train on a Thursday night at Longhirst at 19:00 hours from August to April. We also have Junior training (8 to 16) on a Sunday morning at 10:00
